Breathworks: Mindfulness for Health
I run mindfulness courses to help people with pain, illness and associated stress. The courses offer self-management mindfulness-based strategies and provide a tool-kit of resources for daily life. You will learn to develop these strategies in a warm and friendly group setting.
People who have been helped include those with chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, post-operative pain, cancer, multiple sclerosis, ME, neuropathies, Parkinson’s disease, and many other types of pain and illness.
You will learn
• Breath awareness
• Body awareness and relaxation
• Gentle mindful movement
• Training in how to manage pain, illness and fatigue in daily life
• Mindfulness meditation practice, including cultivating kindness towards yourself and others

Practice day 12th April 11-4pm
Max: 12 people.
The course is based on the Mindfulness for Health by Vidyamala Burch and Danny Penman. Participants are asked to buy the book before the start of the course. Other course materials are provided.

£175 waged/£135 low income/£90 on benefits
I also offer one-to-one mindfulness sessions if a client has a preference for this. The standard rate for a one hour session is £50.
